Spore

Call me a nerd, call me a dork, call me whatever you want, I don't care. But I have to just say that I am so excited about the new release of the PC/Mac game Spore. The game will be released in 2 days (September 7th) and I am highly anticipating this game. I did try out the Spore creature creator where you only get to make your Spore, and I already was immediately sucked into the game.
The game will now feature creating your own creatures (basically from putty) and evolving them throughout the game. There is also an online feature that allows you to create your own Spore civilization. So far it looks like a more kiddish Warcraft play when it comes to civilization mode.
So you can be sure that I am most likely going to be going out on Sunday to buy this game as long as it is easy to find and I have the guts to spend my ever dwindling college money on the game for $49.99. Maybe you'll see me on the Spore inter web shortly. Be afraid.
